I have great pleasure in welcoming you to Ightenhill Nursery School. Children, parents, staff and governors are all very proud of our OUTSTANDING Nursery School and value nursery education. Our school age range is from 2-4 years.
We are a maintained nursery school with a Headteacher, qualified teachers and highly skilled staff. We have a fantastic Forest School on site which is led by our Level 3 Forest School leaders. All children participate in Forest School sessions.
I hope you enjoy finding out about our Nursery School. We are committed to working closely with parents to provide children with the best start in education so please come and visit us at anytime and we will show you around our nursery and explain the high quality education and care we have to offer.

Staffing Update
Miss. Sutcliffe will be leaving nursery on Friday 27 March. Miss. Barry will be taking on the role as the Key Person for the Butterfly Group in the Rainbow Room.
Miss. Sutcliffe has worked at Ightenhill Nursery for 5 and a half years and has supported many children and families. She has built strong relationships with staff, children and parents.
On behalf of the staff and Governors, I would like to thank Miss. Sutcliffe for her enthusiasm and dedication during her time here and wish her the very best in her new adventure. We will miss you, Miss. Sutcliffe!
