Curriculum
At Ightenhill Nursery School we have a broad and balanced curriculum than focuses on the needs of all the children. Our curriculum is enriched with varied experiences promoting a love of learning.

We are currently in the process of developing our curriculum showing the progression of skills and knowledge for each area of learning. We look forward to sharing it with you.
At Ightenhill Nursery School we follow the statutory Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. All our pedagogy is underpinned by the four principles of the EYFS:
- Unique Child
- Positive Relationships
- Enabling Environment
- Learning and Development
We ensure children are provided with a broad and balanced curriculum which is tailored to meet the needs of all pupils, ensuring there is coverage and progression across the curriculum, promoted through purposeful play and children's interests.
If you would like to find out more about our curriculum, please contact Mrs. Daniels-Green.
