Context of Nursery
Ightenhill Nursery School is a standalone, maintained nursery school. We are located on Lionel Street (near to junction 10 of the M65). We provide excellent care and education for children aged 2 -5 years.
Our opening hours are 08.00 – 4.30pm, term time only
We have morning and afternoon sessions.
Morning session 8.45am - 11.45am
Afternoon Session 12.30pm - 3.30pm
We also have full day session places available.
There are a range of options available to meet your childcare needs whilst maintaining high quality teaching and learning, ensuring children are ready for the next stage of their education.
We currently offer 122 places including thirty five funded 30 hours places.
We have an extensive outdoor area and a Forest School on site where children participate in weekly sessions.
We welcome visitors anytime so come and see for yourselves the excellent provision we have to offer.
