Please check each weekday for different activity suggestions that you can do at home. Details of our focus books and 'Wonderful Word of the Week' will also be available here.


Easter holidays project - Create a time capsule together to record what your family is like now. This could be an ongoing project over the Easter break and adults could also contribute to it. Some ideas are listed on the photo but it's your family time capsule and you can be as creative as you want to be with this project.

Easter holidays - Due to the popularity of the daily tasks we will continue to add one an activity each weekday during the two week Easter break. Please feel free to keep adding photos to Tapestry so that we can see what you have been doing.

3/4/2020 - Daily Task - Decorate an egg. If you have an egg that can be hard-boiled then use that but if not draw an egg shape on a piece of paper. Decorate your egg and then take a photo of it and add it to Tapestry so that we can see your super work.

2/4/2020 - For one of the suggested activities next week you will need an empty plastic milk bottle. Just giving you prior warning so that you can save one.

2/4/2020 - Daily Task (nurture children) - Zig-zag balancing. Use tape, string or ribbon to create patterns on the floor and encourage your child to practise balancing by walking along the patterns without 'falling off.'

2/4/2020 - Celebrating Easter - In nursery this week we would be learning about the Christian festival of Easter and how some people celebrate it. Watch the clip and then afterwards ask your child about some of the ways that Christians might celebrate Easter. 1/4/2020 - Daily Task - Do some junk modelling with whatever you have available at home. Perhaps take a look in the recycling for things that you could use. 27/3/2020 Daily Task (older children) - Play 'What Time is it, Mr Wolf?' together. There is a wolf mask in your child's home learning pack that they can colour in or decorate to use.
